Iniciou sua carreira como atriz, sendo dirigida por alguns dos mais respeitados cineastas. “Mulher Oceano” (2020), foi seu primeiro longa como diretora e roteirista, filmado no Japão e no Rio, recebeu 15 prêmios nacionais e internacionais, exibido em festivais na Europa, EUA e Ásia. Foi indicada ao Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro (Melhor Primeira Direção) e ao Prêmio da Associação Brasileira de Autores Roteiristas - ABRA. Dirigiu e roteirizou o curta "Antes do Amanhã" ao lado de André Guerreiro Lopes (2022). É sócia da Mercúrio Produções, produtora fundada em 2001. Filha dos cineastas Rogério Sganzerla e Helena Ignez. "Eclipse" é seu segundo longa.
Djin is a film director, actress, screenwriter and producer. Among other accolades, she received the APCA Award for Best Film Actress. She has worked in feature films with directors such as Paulo Cesar Saraceni, Julio Bressane, Rogério Sganzerla, and Carlos Reichenbach, among others. She is daughter of Rogério Sganzerla and Helena Ignez. She is a partner at Mercúrio Produções, founded in 2001, and made her directorial debut in 2020 with “Ocean Woman”, screened at the 44th Mostra. The film received several national and international awards and was presented at film festivals in Europe, USA, and Asia. She also co-directed and co-wrote the short film “Antes do Amanhã (2022), alongside André Guerreiro Lopes. “Eclipse” is her second feature film.
