Nasceu em Ravena, Itália, em 1972. Como artista visual, trabalhou mesclando cinema documental e arte contemporânea. Dirigiu diversos curtas que foram apresentados em festivais de cinema e exibidos em museus. Seu primeiro longa-metragem, o documentário "O Desafio" (2016), exibido na 41ª Mostra, recebeu o Prêmio Especial do Júri da seção Cineastas do Presente do Festival de Locarno. "Atlântida" é seu segundo longa.
Born in Ravenna, Italy, in 1972. As a visual artist, he worked with a continuous mingling of documentary cinema and contemporary art. Directed several shorts that were screened both in important festivals and museums. His first feature film, the documentary "The Challenge" (2016), presented at the 41st Mostra, won the Special Jury Prize of the Filmmakers of the Present section at the Locarno Film Festival. "Atlantide" is his second feature film.
