Nasceu em Bucareste, Romênia, em 1984. Formou-se em atuação pela Universidade de Artes Teatrais e Cinematográficas de Bucareste em 2007. Fez parte do elenco de filmes como "Aurora" (2010, 34ª Mostra), de Cristi Puiu, "Best Intentions" (2011) e "Ilegitim" (2016, 40ª Mostra), ambos dirigidos por Adrian Sitaru. "Lua Azul" é sua estreia na direção de longas-metragens.
