Nasceu em 1976. Sofia é atriz de teatro e cinema, além de realizadora. Estudou na Escola Profissional de Teatro de Cascais e atuou no Teatro da Cornucópia, em Lisboa, desde a fundação, em 1996, até o encerramento das atividades, em 2016. No cinema, trabalhou em obras como “Cinerama” (2009, 33ª Mostra), “Filme do Desassossego” (2010, 34ª Mostra) e “Amanhã?” (2011, 36ª Mostra). Em 2013, dirigiu o primeiro longa, “8816 Versos”, exibido na 37ª Mostra, seguido por “Ilusão” (2014).
