Nasceu em Singapura em 1991. Cresceu em Hong Kong e mora entre Nova York e Taipei. Entre seus trabalhos estão os curtas-metragens “Secret Lives of Asians at Night” (2019), que foi apoiado pela Spike Lee Film Fellowship, e “Taipei Suicide Story” (2020), sua tese de pós-graduação em cinema na New York University que estreou na Cinéfondation do Festival de Cannes. “Gafanhoto” é seu primeiro longa-metragem.
