Nasceu na Mongólia Interior, China, em 1997. Estudou cinema e TV na Tisch School of the Arts da Universidade de Nova York. Dirigiu o curta-metragem “Graveyard of Horses” (2022), exibido no South by Southwest (SXSW) e no Festival de Londres. “Matar um Cavalo Mongol” é sua estreia na direção de longas-metragens.

She directed the short film "Graveyard of Horses" (2022), which was screened at South by Southwest (SXSW) and the BFI London Film Festival. "To Kill a Mongolian Horse" marks her feature directorial debut.
