Nasceu na Holanda, em 1987, formou-se em animação pela Universidade de Artes Utrecht e começou a carreira como animador e ilustrador. Seu primeiro longa-metragem como diretor, “The Deflowering of Eva van End” (2012), estreou no Festival de Toronto. Realizou, em seguida, “Guilty Movie” (2012), “Aanmodderfakker” (2014) e “Hotel Sinestra” (2022), além de séries de TV, como “Ares” (2022).
