Nasceu em Hannover, na Alemanha, em 1982. Estudou cenografia na Universidade de Artes de Karlsruhe e cinema na Universidade Torcuato Di Tella, em Buenos Aires. Dirigiu curtas, como "Schneeränder" (2009) e "Novios del Campo" (2009), e os longas "Ricardo Bär" (2013, 37ª Mostra), realizado em parceria com Gerardo Naumann e premiado no FIDMarseille, e “Futuro Perfeito” (2016, 40ª Mostra), vencedor do prêmio de melhor primeiro longa-metragem no Festival de Locarno. “Dormir de Olhos Abertos” é o terceiro longa da cineasta.
