Nasceu em 1969, em Wroclaw, na Polônia. Diretor e roteirista, formou-se em 1999 na Universidade da Silésia, onde estudou Direção. Estudou também na Escola Nacional de Cinema, Televisão e Teatro da Polônia. Com o documentário The Station of Joseph D (1998), ganhou o grande prêmio de direção e roteiro no Festival de Documentários de Szczecin, na Polônia. Trabalhou como assistente de vários diretores poloneses, entre eles Zbigniew Kaminski (Germans, 1998) e Jan Jakub Kolski (Playing from the Plate, 1995; Miraculous Place, 1995; The Commander’s Sword, 1996; e History of Cinema in Popielawy, 1998). Escreveu e dirigiu também várias séries populares da TV polonesa. Hiena marca sua estréia em direção de longa-metragem.
Born in 1969, in Wroclaw, Poland. A director and scriptwriter, he graduated in 1999 from the University of Silesia, where he studied directing. He also studied at the Polish National School for Cinema, Television, and Theater. He won the Grand Prize for Directing and Scriptwriting at the Szczecin Documentaries Festival, in Poland. He worked as assistant to several Polish directors amongst these Zbigniew Kaminsky (Germans, 1998); and Jan Jakub Kolski (Playing from the Plate, 1995; Miraculous Place, 1995; The Commander`s Sword, 1996; and History of Cinema in Popielawy, 1998). He also wrote and directed several popular series for Polish TV. Hiena is his first feature as director.
