Nasceu em 1973 em Cracóvia, Polônia. Formou-se pela Escola de Cinema de Lodz, na Polônia. Dirigiu os longas-metragens "Happy Man" (2000), "Stranger", um segmento do longa-metragem coletivo "Visões da Europa" (2004, 28ª Mostra), "33 Cenas da Vida" (2008), vencedor do Leopardo de Prata no Festival de Locarno, e "Elles" (2012).
