Nasceu em Viena em 1965. Estudou teatro, cinema e história da arte. Realizou trabalhos experimentais em fotografia, vídeo, Super-8 e 16mm. Dirigiu os longas-metragens "Positivity" (1994), "Maelstrom of Melancholy" (1995), "Mad Love" (1995), "Aimless Walk - Alexander Hammid" (1996), "The Last Heroes" (1992/97), "No Espelho de Maya Deren" (2001, 26ª Mostra) e "Notes On Marie Menken" (2006). Desde 1998, trabalha como pesquisadora e assistente de projetos de preservação do diretor Jonas Mekas.
