Nasceu em Atenas em 1965. Estudou filosodia na Universidade de Ioannina, na Grécia. Dirigiu curtas-metragens, documentários e peças de teatro. Dirigiu os longas-metragens "All The Weight Of The World" (2004) e "Correction" (2008). "A Filha" (2012) é seu terceiro longa-metragem.
