Zeca Brito é cineasta e gestor cultural. Mestre em artes visuais pela UFRGS, com ênfase em história, teoria e crítica, graduado em realização audiovisual pela Unisinos e poéticas visuais pela UFRGS. Dirigiu e roteirizou longas- metragens exibidos nos cinemas e na televisão brasileira, entre eles “O Guri” (2011), “Glauco do Brasil” (2015, 39ª Mostra), “A Vida Extra-Ordinária de Tarso de Castro” (2017, 41ª Mostra), “Grupo de Bagé” (2018), “Legalidade” (2019), “Trinta Povos” (2020) e “Hamlet” (2022, 46ª Mostra).
Brito is a Brazilian filmmaker and cultural manager. He studied visual arts, with focus on history, theory and criticism and audiovisual. Brito directed and wrote films for theaters and television.
