Born in Namur, Belgium, in 1961. As an actor, he appeared in films like "Chicken with Vinegar" (1985) and "Madame Bovary" (1991), both by Claude Chabrol, "Wuthering Heights" (1985), by Jacques Rivette, "Disorder" (1986), by Olivier Assayas, and "Merry Christmas" (2005), by Christian Carion. He directed the trilogy formed by the titles "An Amazing Couple", "On the Run" and "After the Life", all from 2003. Directed and scripted by him, "Rapt" (2009) and "38 Témoins" (2012) were presented at Mostra.
