Srdjan Karanovic was born in Belgrade in 1945. He graduated as a film and TV director in Prague in 1970. He has directed three feature films: "Social Game" (1973), "Fragrance of Wild Flowers" (1977), which won the FIPRESCI Prize at Cannes in 1978, and "Petria's Wreath" (1980).
