Born in the Netherlands in 1961. She studied stage direction at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, in Utrecht, and made her debut with her film documentary "The Saved" (1998). She also made the documentaries "The Holocaust Experience" (2002) and "The New Rijksmuseum" (2008).
