A documentary that follows the main events of the labor movement in São Paulo and Greater São Paulo, in 1978: the May strikes, the elections for the board of the Metallurgical Workers` Union (one of the largest in Latin America), the demonstration against inflation in Praça da Sé, and the general strike of workers in November. At the same time, the film examines the country`s union structure.
Documentário que acompanha os principais acontecimentos do movimento operário em São Paulo e na Grande São Paulo, em 1978: as greves de maio, as eleições para a diretoria do Sindicato dos Metalúrgicos (um dos maiores da América Latina), a manifestação contra a inflação na Praça da Sé e a greve geral dos operários em novembro.
