1917. Fleeing away the hunger and war in Poland, Rebeca arrives in Brazil to meet her husband and start a new life. However, contrary to the promises of happiness, the reality tha she finds in Rio de Janeiro is completely different. She discovers that her husband has passed away and she ends up a hostage of a large prostitution and women trafficking network, headed by the merciless Tzvi. Even transgressing her own beliefs, Rebeca finds allies who are experiencing the same drama as her and, together, they will fight for freedom.
1917. Fugindo da fome e da guerra na Polônia, Rebeca chega ao Brasil para reencontrar o marido e iniciar uma nova vida. Porém, ao contrário das promessas de felicidade, a realidade que ela encontra no Rio de Janeiro é completamente diferente. Rebeca descobre que o marido faleceu e acaba refém de uma grande rede de prostituição e tráfico de mulheres, chefiada pelo impiedoso Tzvi. Mesmo transgredindo suas próprias crenças, ela encontra aliadas que vivem o mesmo drama e, juntas, lutarão por liberdade.
