Téllez is a prestigious film critic, totally weary of Hollywood romantic comedies and with a pessimistic view of modern filmmaking. He sees the world as if it were a long movie he can`t avoid criticizing. One day, he unexpectedly meets Sofía, a young and attractive woman who has little in common with, especially when it comes to film taste. When fate keeps bringing them together in idyllic situations, he suspects that the movie genre he hates the most is seeking revenge.
