Sinopse
Nero e Miguel são irmãos mas desconhecem a existência um do outro. Eles nem conheciam seu pai, até ele lhes escrever uma carta convidando-os para o seu próprio funeral. Assim, os irmãos se encontram pela primeira vez numa estação de trem, onde descobrem que nenhum trem passa há anos pela estação. Eles iniciam uma peregrinação através da meseta castelhana – uma paisagem arrasada da Espanha, carregada com histórias do pai, pontuada por encontros com personagens estranhos e maravilhosos que habitam aquela terra.
Brothers Nero and Miguel are unaware of each other`s existence; they didn`t even know their father, until he wrote them a letter inviting them to his own funeral. Thus the siblings meet for the very first time at a train station, only to find out that no trains have run through there for years. So they begin their wanderings through the Castilian Meseta, a scorched landscape instilled forever with their father`s stories punctuated by chance encounters with the weird and wonderful characters that inhabit that land.
