Sinopse
Mazen acaba de ser libertado da prisão. Ele foi preso por ter posto fogo em um assentamento israelense que, se tivesse sido concluído, teria destruído sua vila de plantadores de oliveira. O irmão mais novo, Taher, está apaixonado pela bela Raeda, mas essa paixão é mantida em segredo porque, por tradição, o irmão mais velho deve se casar primeiro. Mazen is just out of jail. He was arrested for having set fire to an Israeli settlement that, had it spread, would have destroyed his own village of olive planters. His younger brother, Taher, is in love with beautiful Raeda, but this passion is kept secret because, by tradition, the oldest brother must marry first. In addition, the father of both, Muhamad, is ill. The father wants to honor Mazen because he believes his son committed an act of heroism, and starts preparations for his wedding to Raeda. Meanwhile, the girl herself is divided between love and respect for tradition. The film deserved honorary mention in the San Francisco Festival.
