Sinopse
O cenário é a cidade do México. Um terrível acidente automobilístico acaba de acontecer. Três pessoas se encontram, três vidas se chocam e revelam o lado obscuro da natureza humana. O adolescente Octavio decidiu fugir com Susana, a mulher de seu irmão. Cofi, seu leal cachorro, se transforma num cruel veículo para que ele consiga o dinheiro necessário para a fuga. O que irá complicar ainda mais o triângulo amoroso formado em sua família, onde o amor clandestino se converte numa estrada sem volta. Ao mesmo tempo, Daniel, 42 anos, resolve abandonar esposa e filhas para ir viver com Valéria, uma bela modelo por quem está apaixonado. No dia em que eles festejam sua união, o destino conduz Valéria ao trágico acidente. Também chega ao local do acidente Chivo, um ex-guerrilheiro comunista que se tornou um assassino de aluguel, depois de passar vários anos preso. Ali, em meio ao caos, ele encontra Cofi, o cão de Octavio, e tenta salvá-lo. Este encontro abre para ele a possibilidade de se reconciliar consigo mesmo e com seu doloroso passado.
The setting is Mexico City. A terrible automobile accident has just occurred. Three people meet, three lives collide into each other and reveal the obscure side of human nature. Teenager Octavio has decided to elope with Susana, his brother?s wife. Cofi, his loyal dog, is the cruel vehicle that will enable him to find the money necessary for them to run away - that is to further complicate the love threesome formed within the family where covert love is to become a road of no return. Daniel, age 42, concomitantly, decides to abandon wife and daughters to live with Valéria, a beautiful model he is in love with. On the day they celebrate their union, fate leads Valéria to the tragic accident. Also at the scene of the accident is Chivo, a communist ex-guerilla who became a hired assassin after several years in jail. There in the midst of the chaos, he finds Cofi, Octávio?s dog, and tries to save the dog. This encounter is to make it possible for him to reconcile himself with his dismal past.
