Sinopse
Roshan, um rapaz americano de origem indiana, viaja à Índia pela primeira vez para se despedir da avó, que está muito doente. Ela quer morrer em sua própria terra, e ele prepara o seu enterro. Nos EUA, imerso na cultura ocidental, ele desconhecia a cultura, a comida, a religião e os valores da sociedade indiana. Na Índia, ele passa a interagir com os vizinhos de sua avó e rapidamente se integra aos seus costumes. O que ele não sabe é que toda pessoa risonha e carinhosa esconde uma outra face, e que as pessoas comuns às vezes precisam alimentar seus demônios interiores – e ele pode ser a presa.
A young American boy, Roshan, of Indian origin, comes to India for the first time to drop his ailing grandmother. She wants to die in her own soil, and so prepares for death. In America, having led a very western lifestyle, he isn’t aware of the sights and smells, food and culture, religion and beliefs that an Indian society is. After coming to India, he interacts with his grandmother’s neighborhood and then seamlessly dissolves as if one of them. Little does he know that the ever laughing and endearing people have another face, that the simple and ordinary people often need to feed the devil within, and that he could be their prey.
