Sinopse
Dois jovens casais deixam seus países na busca por uma vida melhor. Melinda e Nik partem da Albânia em um barco com destino à Itália, numa tentativa de viver um amor proibido. Vera e Marko deixam a Sérvia e embarcam em um trem para a Áustria, em uma viagem que cruza a Hungria. Marko é um talentoso violoncelista e tem a oportunidade de entrar para a renomada Orquestra Filarmônica de Viena. Mas mesmo com os vistos em ordem, seus problemas começam assim que chegam à fronteira. Eles não têm nada a ver com um sério incidente que aconteceu na noite anterior em Kosovo. Contudo, são presos por causa de uma série de infelizes coincidências. A esperança de realizar todos os sonhos na Europa, sinônimo de Terra Prometida, vai por água abaixo.
In hope of a better life, two young couples leave their respective countries. Melinda and Nik leave Albania by boat for Italy, in order to be able to live out their forbidden love. Vera and Marko leave Serbia by train for Austria, traveling through Hungary. Marko, a talented cellist, has the opportunity to enter the renowned Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. But upon their arrival at the border, and even though their visas are in order, their problems begin. Despite the fact that they have nothing to do with a serious incident that took place the night before in Kosovo, and because of unfortunate coincidences, they are arrested. Their hope to realize all their dreams in Europe, synonym for the Promised Land, disappear.
