Sinopse
Uma jornada introspectiva à vida de quatro mulheres encurraladas no universo do tráfico de seres humanos. Circunstâncias desesperadoras de vida levam-nas a um agente que as encanta com a possibilidade de uma vida melhor em cidades distantes. Traídas no amor e por seus familiares, elas migram em difíceis condições e com nomes diferentes e se embrenham numa metrópole. Itu, uma das garotas em questão, está apaixonada por seu professor de música. Mas ela é vendida por seu amado para um traficante, logo depois de passar por um doloroso aborto. Fátima, uma imigrante ilegal em busca do pai, que abandonou a família e foi residir em algum outro lugar no país, é detida pelas Forças de Segurança da Fronteira por suspeita de ligação com terroristas e acaba estuprada pelos defensores da lei. A polícia local, ao invés de registrar o crime, vende-a para os traficantes. Soma, cuja irmã mais velha é prostituta na cidade, resolve tomar o mesmo caminho já que a pobreza não lhe permite escolha melhor. A quarta mulher é uma jovem viúva igualmente vítima dos traficantes. Elas se perdem completamente no luxo e glamour da cidade. Elas sonham agora em fazer muito dinheiro numa cidade mais desenvolvida. As coisas se tornam ainda mais intrigantes quando uma jovem européia, que sofreu o mesmo destino nas mãos dos traficantes, passa a dividir o mesmo apartamento.
It’s an introspective journey into the lives of four women who are trapped in the world of human trafficking. Desperate circumstances in life lands them up with an agent who allures them with a better life in the distant cities. Betrayed in love and by the family members, they migrate under difficult circumstances and with different names and sneak into a cosmopolitan city. Itu, one of the girls in question, is in love with her music teacher. But she is sold off by her beloved to an agent involved in trafficking, after going through a painful abortion process. Fatima, an illegal immigrant, in search of her father who had deserted his family and settled somewhere in this country, is detained by the Border Security Forces for questioning on charges of terrorist links, and is raped by the defenders of law. The local police, instead of registering a case of rape against the forces, sales her to the traffickers. Soma, whose elder sister is a prostitute in the city, decided to take the same path as poverty does not leave her with any better choice. The fourth girl is a young widow who is also trapped by the traffickers. They get completely lost in the glitter and glamour of the city life. They now dream of making bigger money in a more developed city. Things become more intriguing when a European girl, who has suffered the same fate at the hand of the traffickers, starts sharing their apartment.
