Manguari Pistolão is an anonymous militant who has been fighting for 40 years for causes that he considers revolutionary. Everything changes, however, when Luca, his son, accuses him of being conservative, old-fashioned and anachronistic. With financial problems and chronic arthritis, Manguari reflects on the past. From a relationship between father and son, we follow the story of a divided country. The movie is based on the work of Oduvaldo Vianna Filho.
