Sinopse
Durante o último ano, Sandra, uma escritora alemã, e Samuel, seu marido francês, viveram juntos com Daniel, o filho de 11 anos do casal, em uma pequena e isolada cidade nos Alpes. Quando Samuel é encontrado morto, a polícia passa a tratar o caso como um suposto homicídio, e Sandra se torna a principal suspeita. Aos poucos, o julgamento se transforma não apenas numa investigação das circunstâncias da morte, mas em uma jornada psicológica e perturbadora às profundezas da conturbada relação entre Sandra e Samuel.

For the past year, Sandra, a German writer, her French husband Samuel, and their eleven-year-old son Daniel have lived a secluded life in a remote town in the Alps. When Samuel is found dead in the snow below their chalet, the police treat the case as a presumed murder, and Sandra becomes the main suspect. Little by little the trial becomes not just an investigation of the circumstances of Samuel’s death, but an unsettling psychological journey into the depths of Sandra and Samuel’s conflicted relationship.
