Diretor e roteirista, formou-se na Escola de Cinema de Lodz, na Polônia. Dirigiu, entre outros, os curtas "By Night" (1996), "On the other side of the forest" (1998) e "Fratricide" (1999). Seu projeto de conclusão de curso, "The Man Thing" (2001), foi indicado ao Oscar de melhor curta-metragem. Estreou na direção de longas-metragens com "Retrieval" (2005). "Amar" (2012) é seu segundo longa.
A director and screenplay writer, he graduated from the Lodz Film School. He directed, among others, the short films "By Night" (1996), "On the other side of the forest" (1998), and "Fratricide" (1999). His diploma film "The Man Thing" (2001) was nominated for an Oscar for best short film in 2002. In 2005, he directed his feature debut, "Retrieval" (2005). "Loving" (2012) is his second feature.
