Li Xing, a fourteen-year-old teenager, lives in the Great Phuket district in South China, a setting of ruins and reconstruction. He doesn’t get along well with his mother, who refuses to leave the family house planned for destruction, and the middle school where he studies brings him nothing but problems. One day, he and his only friend Song find a tunnel that leads them to a strange hiding place where rocks have recorded sounds from the past. Little by little, the tunnel stops being a refuge and strange things start to happen.
