One of the greatest filmmakers of History and the most renowned name in Indian cinema, Satyajit Ray (1921-1992) has his work revisited at the 48th Mostra with a retrospective presenting seven titles from his first and most decisive decade of artistic creation, that includes the Apu Trilogy - "Song of the Little Road" (1955), "The Unvanquished" (1956) and "The World of Apu" (1959) -, also "The Lonely Wife" (1964), "The Coward" (1965), and "The Hero" (1966).
