Sinopse
Num clima semidocumental, desenrola-se a aventura de um diretor mexicano que viaja com seu primeiro filme para participar de seu primeiro festival de cinema latino-americano. Logo de saída, tem um problema: a cópia enviada é falada em inglês, sem legendas em espanhol. A reação dos participantes, dos jurados e da imprensa é a pior possível e não se faz esperar. Todo mundo cai em cima do cineasta, criticando-o. A história tem novos capítulos nos festivais de Havana, Cartagena, Guadalajara e tem algumas cenas em Nova York, com a participação de alguns atores famosos, como o cubano Jorge Perugorría, o americano Harry Belafonte e a espanhola Ariadna Gil.
The adventures of a Mexican director traveling with his first film to take part in his first Latin-American film festival is semi-documental by nature. From the start, there are problems: the copy sent is spoken in English without subtitles in Spanish. The reaction of the participants, the jury, and the press are the worse possible and immediate. All go for the filmmaker to criticize him. The story sees new chapters at the festivals of Havana, Cartagena, Guadalajara with some scenes in New York with the participation of some famous artists such as Cuban Jorge Perugorría, American Harry Belafonte and Ariadna Gil, from Spain.
