Sinopse
Quando sua classe de francês deve traduzir uma reportagem sobre um terrorista que plantou uma bomba na bagagem da namorada grávida, Simon começa a penetrar no passado tenebroso de sua família. Os motivos que resultaram na morte de seu pai Sami e de sua mãe Rachel, atiçam sua vida no mundo real e virtual. Diante da crise que se revela, o confuso adolescente, que vive com o seu bem-intencionado tio Tom, se fecha cada vez mais, abrindo-se apenas para sua misteriosa professora de francês, Sabine.
When his high-school French class is asked to translate a news article about a terrorist who planted a bomb in his pregnant girlfriend`s luggage, Simon starts digging into his own family`s murky past. His resulting claims about the deaths of his father Sami and mother Rachel stir up a storm that splashes over the edges of his own life and into communities both local and virtual. Bringing full teenaged confusion and self-righteousness to the crisis he helped create, Simon lives with his well-meaning, struggling uncle Tom, but increasingly shuts him out, opening up instead to his mysterious French teacher Sabine.
