Sinopse
Como suportar o insuportável? Este é o dilema vivido por Claes e Britt, um casal que perdeu seu único filho num acidente de carro cinco meses antes. Cada um à sua maneira, eles tentam superar a tragédia, mas não está fácil. Britt nem sequer pode falar sobre o assunto. Claes não pode falar sobre qualquer coisa. Ela passa a se concentrar apenas em seu trabalho de assistente social e se envolve com uma mãe solteira e seu bebê, mas nitidamente começa a ultrapassar os limites profissionais. Claes não consegue trabalhar e é mandado de licença para casa. Ele não conta a Britt, mas começa a perseguir a mulher causadora do acidente que vitimou sua filha. A situação torna-se insustentável para os dois. Quando Britt entra em conflito com a jovem mãe e Claus finalmente confronta a tal mulher, fica claro que a vingança não poderá aplacar o sofrimento dos dois.
How to bear the unbearable? This is the dilemma lived by Claus and Britt, a couple who lost their only child in a car accident five months before. Each one, on its own way, tries to overcome the tragedy, but it’s not easy. Britt can’t talk about what happened. Claus can’t even talk about anything. She starts focusing on her work as social worker and gets involved with a single mother and her baby, but clearly starts to get out of her professional bounds. Claus is not able to work and is sent home on leave. He doesn’t tell Britt, but begins to chase the woman who caused the accident that killed their daughter. The situation becomes unbearable for both of them. When Britt begins a struggle with the young mother and Claus finally faces that woman, it’s clearly understood that vengeance will not put an end to their misery.
