Sinopse
Numa área inóspita e desértica nas proximidades de uma mina de sal no interior do Irã, dois jovens irmãos lutam pela sobrevivência diária como podem. Um deles alimenta com ópio os camelos que carregam contrabando para aumentar o rendimento dos animais. O outro rouba combustível dos caminhões para depois revender aos próprios motoristas e faturar uns trocados. Certo dia, aparece um homem misterioso que, aparentemente, é oriundo da região e está voltando para viver ali seus últimos dias de vida. Os três iniciam então um relacionamento que irá mudar para sempre a vida dos meninos.
In an inhospitable desert area in the vicinity of a salt mine in the interior of Iran, two young brothers struggle along for survival as best they can. One of them feeds the camels that carry contraband with opium to increase their yield. The other steals fuel from drivers and re-sells it to the drivers themselves to make a few coins. One day, a mysterious man appears there. He apparently is from the region and is returning to spend his last remaining days there. The three then start up a relationship that is to change the lives of the boys forever.
