Um empregado do Ministério da Cultura tem como missão viajar às cidades mais isoladas do país, com seu cinema móvel, exibindo filmes. Um dia, decide levar com ele o filho. Eles chegam a uma pequena vila rural, onde são bem recebidos – as crianças os ajudam a instalar a tela e o projetor. Enquanto isso, uma garota local reza para conseguir se casar com seu jovem amado e não com o velho a quem foi prometida. À noite, toda a população da cidade comparece à exibição cinematográfica. Os moradores ficam extasiados, afinal de contas nunca assistiram a um filme antes. Estão tão fascinados pela magia do cinema que não permitem que a exibição seja cancelada por causa da chuva. No dia seguinte, um cortejo de casamento atravessa a pequena cidade: a garota, com seu jovem noivo, realiza seu sonho. Ao mesmo tempo, pai e filho saem do local, prometendo às crianças que um dia voltarão, neste filme vencedor do Prêmio Especial do Júri para Primeiro ou Segundo Filme e Menção Especial para Melhor Ator no Festival de Teerã.
An employee of the Ministry of Culture has a mission to travel to the most isolated cities in the country with his mobile cinema, showing films. One day, he decides to take his son with him. They arrive at a small rural village where they are received - the children help them to set up screen and projector. Meanwhile, a local girl prays that she may marry her young lover and not the old man to whom she has been promised to. At night, all of the population of the city flocks to the film show. The residents are ecstatic for, after all, they had never seen a film before. They are so fascinated by the magic of the cinema that they do not allow the show to be canceled owing to rain. On the next day, a wedding party goes through the small city: the girl, with her young fiancé, fulfills her dream. At the same time, father and son leave the site promising the children they will return one day. This film was winner of the Special Prize of the Jury for First and Second Film with Special Mention for Best Actor at the Teheran Festival.
